Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Trader within the Rates Team to operate on a fast-paced trading floor, advising and facilitating transactions for institutional clients, including banks and fund managers.

You will engage in market-making across a diverse range of products and optimize internal systems to improve execution. Applicants should have 3+ years of trading or markets experience, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and programming experience, with the ability to manage risk under pressure

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in trading or markets.
• Extensive expertise with trading technology and its application to risk markets.
• Expert Excel, Power Point and MS Office skills and experience in programming.
• Someone who thrives on the challenge of high pressure and can assess risk according to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage risk, liquidity and exposure of the trading desk.
• Pre-trade analysis, research on major market trends, inbound and outbound trade processing and the design of optimal strategies for large trades.
• Tracking supply and demand, you will constantly evaluate market developments and monitor trading systems in order to give clients accurate product information.
• Bring a collaborative approach working with our business partners in sales to provide comprehensive client coverage across the platform.
