Job summary

Axiom Path is recruiting on behalf of a global financial institution in Jersey City for a Senior QA Automation Engineer who can operate in bilingual Japanese/English and drive automation maturity across front office trading platforms.

The role focuses on designing robust test frameworks in Java or Python, executing automated and manual tests, validating trade lifecycle processes, and collaborating with global teams to ensure accuracy and quality in critical OTC workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in large-scale software development and QA environments.
• 5–7+ years of hands-on experience developing automation frameworks using Java or Python.
• Strong experience with Selenium and API testing tools (e.g., Postman).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and expand automated test frameworks for front office trading apps.
• Develop and execute automated and manual test cases aligned to trade workflows.
• Validate deal ticket entry, risk revaluation, and trade handoff to back office.
• Perform API, UI, and data validation testing using Selenium, Postman, and SQL.
• Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and stakeholders across regions and Agile ceremonies.
