If you’re ready to change lives, we want to hear from you This position will be at the Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Institute located at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix. Whether you have back pain, joint issues, torn ligaments or a complex fracture, we treat all injuries and disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Our doctors use advanced surgical and minimally invasive techniques to reduce pain and get you moving and do coverage at Banner Scottsdale Sports Medicine, a three-story, 80,000-square-foot center, will welcome and serve athletes at all levels, from youth to professionals. Our comprehensive, one-stop destination will be offering numerous sports medicine services and specialists under one roof, with internationally and nationally renowned sports medicine providers and leaders. Services will include orthopedic surgery, primary care sports medicine, concussion care, ambulatory surgery center, physical therapy, medical imaging, performance assessment and training, strength and conditioning, sports nutrition, and sports psychology. This is a full time day shift position working Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Your pay and benefits are important components of your journey at Banner Health. This position coordinates a smooth patient flow process by answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, providing registration of patient and insurance information, obtaining required signatures following established processes, procedures and standards. This position also verifies insurance coverage, validates referrals and authorizations, collects patient liability and provides financial guidance to patients to maximize medical services reimbursement efforts. This also includes accurately posting patients at the point of service and releasing information in accordance with organizational and compliance policies and guidelines.
