Job summary

Pottawattamie County Conservation seeks a Hospitality and Guest Services Team Lead for Crescent Hill at Hitchcock ski season (Nov–Mar). The role oversees front office operations, including tickets, booking, emails, and phones, and ensures opening/closing procedures are performed efficiently.

You will lead staff, train on POS and cash handling, manage scheduling, inventory, and documentation while delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic seasonal environment.

Qualifications

• Front office experience preferred and supervisory experience.
• 1-2 years in snow sports or hospitality.
• Must be 18 years old at hire.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Reliable and punctual with own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead front office operations including scheduling, ticketing, lesson booking, and emails/phones.
• Train front office staff on POS, close-out, and cash balancing.
• Schedule front office employees to meet demand based on hours and events.
• Manage front office supplies and retail items.
• Document training and maintain proper records.
• Lead staff and delegate daily assignments per business needs.
• Ensure knowledge of emergency procedures and train staff.
• Assist guests with ticketing, lift tickets, rentals, season passes, and school.
