Job description

We are looking for an exceptional and customer-serviced focused full-time Front Office Coordinator at our Palmdale office. This position is for 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate is an energetic, outgoing and detail-oriented individual to perform the following duties in a friendly and efficient manner. The candidate can expect to multi-task continuously, possess excellent customer service skills, collect co-payments, effectively utilize Raintree EMR system in an efficient manner for scheduling patients and patient records, verify and obtain appropriate authorizations from insurance Providers and referring physicians. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of medical front office experience, an AA or higher degree and understand medical terminology. Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.

  • Collects Co-Payments
  • Obtains authorization from insurance provider
  • Greets patients in a friendly and effective manner
  • Answers multi-line telephone system
  • Maintains accurate files of patient records using EMR system
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

CandidatesMUSThave a minimum of 2 years medical front office experience preferably in a physical therapy environment and fully understand insurance verification and medical terminology. Raintree EMR experience highly preferred. AA or bachelor’s degree strongly recommended. Spanish speaking is a plus.
