Job summary

Business Integration Partners (BIP) is seeking a senior Product Engineer to embed with business leaders across the US, helping traders, operators, and product owners translate needs into robust technology solutions.

You will design, build, deploy, and continuously improve AI-powered applications, dashboards, APIs, and productivity tools, taking ideas from discovery to production.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production software in enterprise environments.
• Background as a Product Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Front Office Developer, Solution Engineer, Full Stack Engineer, or comparable role.
• Experience partnering directly with business stakeholders rather than working solely from predefined requirements.
• Strong engineering fundamentals across APIs, cloud, distributed systems, testing, DevOps, and application architecture.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI technologies including LLM integration, agentic workflows, RAG, orchestration frameworks, and AI‑assisted coding tools.
• Ability to communicate equally well with executives, business users, and software engineers.
• Bias toward ownership, execution, experimentation, and measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with business users to understand workflows, pain points, and strategic objectives.
• Identify opportunities where AI, automation, analytics, or software engineering can transform business processes.
• Design, build, deploy, and continuously improve bespoke applications, AI copilots, workflow automations, dashboards, APIs, and internal productivity platforms.
• Leverage LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, agent orchestration, and AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate delivery.
• Prototype MVPs rapidly, validate with end users, and evolve successful solutions into enterprise‑grade platforms.
• Influence technology direction through product thinking and continuous stakeholder engagement.
• Own production support, enhancements, adoption, and long‑term success of delivered solutions.

About the Opportunity:

This is not a traditional software engineering role.

You will embed directly with business leaders, traders, portfolio managers, operations teams, product owners, and subject matter experts to become their technology partner. Like a Front Office or Desk Developer in a capital markets environment, you will identify high-value opportunities, rapidly prototype solutions, and deliver production-ready applications that improve decision-making, reduce operational risk, automate manual processes, and unlock new business capabilities.

Success in this role comes from curiosity, technical excellence, product thinking, and the ability to translate ambiguous business problems into elegant engineering solutions. You will own ideas from discovery through production while leveraging modern AI platforms, agentic workflows, and software engineering best practices to deliver meaningful outcomes.

**The base salary range for this role is $130,000 - $180,000, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.**
