Welcome to the first Jeff's Bagel Run in Illinois! We are looking for enthusiastic teammates who want to grow alongside us as we expand into Illinois. We want your help serving the best bagels in town! As a member of the first Jeff's Bagel Run team in Illinois, you will be at the front of the shop serving up smiles and a great customer experience to go along with the MOST DELICIOUS BAGELS YOU HAVE EVER HAD! You will thrive in a team environment, packing up bagels, cream cheese, and preparing an assortment of refreshing beverages as the perfect sidekick to fresh bagels. Whether you slice your bagel, or you rip-n-dip into multiple cream cheeses... sipping on a hot or iced latte between bites... there's no wrong way to enjoy your bagel! Responsibilities: • General customer service • Serving the best bagels ever! • Must be comfortable running a cash register and assisting in food prep (bagels and cream cheese) • Front lobby maintenance • Providing assistance to the bakers when needed • Clean and disinfect work area; set up and break down work station; and follow and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures. • Responsible for opening the store (shifts may start between 5-7 am) Qualifications: • An energetic, bubbly personality • Previous restaurant or bakery experience is a bonus (we provide training!) • You enjoy meeting and talking with new people • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and move efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Your schedule must be flexible, and you can work weekdays/weekends • Reliable transportation and punctuality Compensation: $13 - $14 hourly
