Job summary

Delicious Food Enterprises is seeking a Front of House team member for Pizza Box at 1253 Jacklin Road, Milpitas, CA. You will greet guests, help them choose food and drinks, and process orders with accuracy and care.

Responsibilities include relaying orders to the kitchen, ensuring timely delivery, handling cash, keeping the store clean, and supporting teammates during busy periods. A Food Handler Card is required, with a preference for prior restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers upon entrance and educates customers throughout their experience in the store.
• Assists patrons in selecting their selections for food, drinks, or other items.
• Process customer orders and record them in the restaurant database.
• Relay customers’ orders to the kitchen staff.
• Ensure all orders are delivered to the customers in a timely manner.
• Accept cash and return the correct change.
• Tally money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Place food orders in the appropriate bags and boxes.
• Respond to customer inquiries and record customer suggestions.
• Maintain clean eating, service, and kitchen spaces.
• Help kitchen staff when needed.
• Achieve store goals as directed by the Shift Supervisor.
• Follow all company policies, food safety standards, and kitchen procedures.
• Maintain strong communication and positive energy.
• Assist other team members during high-volume periods.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with all aspects of their experience.
• Handle customer complaints and bring them to supervision when necessary.
• Follow set up and closing protocols.
• Keep the store clean and inviting.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

The Front of House staff member is responsible for assisting patrons, working in the storefront, processing food orders, packaging orders, and maintaining a clean kitchen and store environment.

This work assignment will be at Pizza Box, 1253 Jacklin Road, Milpitas, CA, 95035.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
