Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee our restaurant group's operations.

We are K to Z Collective, owners of West Ave Grille, Pizza Wheel, The Highland Restaurant & Bar, and Taco Kidz Food Truck. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring quality service, outstanding food, and maximizing profitability. You will also manage and motivate a team of staff members, ensuring they work together efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to implement and adhere to best management practices and meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing a positive customer experience.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations and industry trends.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Proven aptitude for customer service.
  • Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall operations of the restaurant, including overseeing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing profitability.
  • Enforce policies and procedures that ensure efficient and effective restaurant operations.
  • Help execute menus, ensuring they are appealing and satisfying to customers.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of supplies to ensure the restaurant is adequately stocked.
  • Train and manage staff, ensuring they are motivated, productive, and committed to excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene, meeting health and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
  • Assist in implementing marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and increase customer traffic.

Expectations:

  • Manage and maintain Front of House (FOH) staff.
  • Manage and motivate staff to work effectively and efficiently.
  • Delegate tasks appropriately.
  • Communicate with managers about upcoming events and missing items.
  • Proactively plan based on staff schedules.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
