Suser Restaurant Group is seeking a Front of House Manager to lead the FOH team and ensure exceptional guest experiences at our lakes-area locations. The role emphasizes training, team motivation, and daily front-of-house operations, with the General Manager as a point of reference.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of supervisory experience in hospitality, strong communication skills, and a professional appearance aligned with our hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail environment.
• Ability to train, guide and lead a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication, math and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management; flexible to schedule requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the front of house team to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Manage daily FOH operations for smooth, efficient service across shifts.
• Act as manager in the absence of the General Manager and oversee restaurant operations.
• Oversee cash controls and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Ensure safety and security procedures are followed within the restaurant.
• Maintain high guest-service standards and promptly resolve issues.
• Monitor floor operations and guest flow; assist staff as needed.
• Coordinate with kitchen to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Uphold company culture, values, and standards at all times.

The Role

The Front of House Manager reports to the General Manager and is responsible for enthusiastically leading and motivating the team to deliver the highest levels of guest service. This role manages the restaurant along side or in the absence of the General Manager and oversees the daily front of house operations, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, train, and develop the front of house team, creating an environment where enthusiastic people are recognized and rewarded for achieving both organizational and personal goals
• Manage daily front of house operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout every shift
• Serve as acting manager in the absence of the General Manager, taking full responsibility for restaurant operations
• Oversee all cash controls and enforce company policies and procedures
• Ensure all safety and security procedures are followed within the restaurant
• Maintain high standards of guest service, resolving any issues promptly and professionally
• Monitor floor operations, assist staff as needed, and ensure proper table management and guest flow
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
• Uphold and model company culture, values, and standards at all times
