Job summary

Carpenter Hotel in Austin, TX is hiring a Front of House Manager to lead the FOH team and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will oversee service, safety, sanitation, training, and adherence to brand standards while managing labor and costs.

The role requires at least 2 years of progressive F&B supervision, a high school diploma, and TABC/Food Handler certifications. We offer medical/dental/vision, 401K, PTO, Headspace, and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of progressive food & beverage experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily front- and back-of-house operations.
• Maintain and promote safety and security standards, including computer and inventory security.
• Address guest feedback promptly and professionally.
• Ensure efficient operations within company financial and operational guidelines.
• Communicate initiatives and policy changes clearly to staff.
• Train and supervise team on service, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of all recipes and production standards.
• Oversee hiring, evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
