HSS is seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to oversee all aspects of restaurant front-end operations for our client in Baton Rouge.

The Front of House Manager will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining cleanliness and efficiency, and optimizing front-end operations. This role focuses on customer satisfaction, team development, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house activities, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Hire, train, and develop front-of-house staff to provide exceptional customer service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining area and bar.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
• Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
• Monitor and enhance the overall guest experience, ensuring prompt service and satisfaction.
• Oversee reservations and seating arrangements for efficient table turnover.
• Manage cash handling, POS systems, and front-of-house financial transactions.
• Implement and communicate company promotions, policies, and operational updates.
• Track and analyze front-of-house expenses to optimize cost control and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and management team to ensure seamless service between front and back-of-house operations.
• Maintain a strong presence in the local community to enhance the restaurant's reputation.

Qualifications:

• Proven restaurant management experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, P&L, and cost controls.
• Serve Safe Certification and ability to obtain a Liquor License.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Flexible schedule, with availability to work 50+ hours per week.
• Ability to train, coach, develop, and motivate staff effectively.
