Job summary

Ramen Tatsu-Ya is opening a new Houston Bellaire location and seeks a Front of House team member to create a welcoming dining experience and deliver exceptional service. You will upsell, maintain cleanliness, and help ensure smooth operations during each shift.

Ideal candidates will be 18+, hold valid food handlers and TABC certificates, and be able to move quickly in a busy restaurant while standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. Flexible scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid food handlers and TABC certificates.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift 25-50 lbs.
• Prolonged periods of standing and navigating the kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all front-of-house tasks efficiently following the General Manager's checklist.
• Proactively upsell menu items and promotions to enhance guest experience and sales.
• Provide excellent guest service through table touches and a welcoming atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the shift and manage spills.
• Complete side work and check out with the Manager on Duty to finish tasks.
• Prioritize timely delivery of food to tables and ensure order accuracy.
• Regularly check and restock restrooms to keep them clean.
