Job Responsibilities

• Secure containers by attaching hooks, using control levers to load containers onto the truck bed, and securing straps and tarps as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service courteously and efficiently, aligning with company, customer, and municipal goals.
• Address customer inquiries and direct them to appropriate departments for further assistance.
• Operate compaction and lift equipment on the vehicle.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections following Waste Pro and DOT guidelines, including checking under the hood, undercarriage, fluid levels, and tires.
• Maintain a clean truck, wash exterior weekly, and ensure proper inspection and maintenance routines.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with a clean driving record.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Knowledge of refuse collection policies, procedures, and DOT requirements.
• Good hearing and vision, with or without correction.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively in English.

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in training courses as required.
• Stay updated on technology used by Waste Pro.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisors.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

Must be physically capable of lifting and pulling heavy loads, working in extreme weather conditions, and performing manual tasks repeatedly. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

Work environment includes exposure to varying weather, noise, fumes, and dust.
