Bring your experience to support a team building transmissions and gearboxes that thrill our customers and redefine the way the world flies. This role is integral to executing daily manufacturing activities.

What you’ll be doing as a Front Line Leader

The Front Line Leader will be responsible for assigning, managing, and directing the daily manufacturing activities of up to 25 union-covered employees within their assigned area to optimize operations, maximize throughput, and ensure profitable production of parts.

  • Provide daily assignment and direction to direct reports.
  • Conduct disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Manage in accordance with the local production union Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Maintain accountability for performance metrics: TAKT, earned hours, efficiency, schedule, overhead, and overtime charges.
  • Achieve objectives in a matrix work environment, collaborating effectively with functions such as Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, and Quality.

  • Goal-oriented, data-driven, with a strong sense of urgency.
What you need to be successful
  • An empowering team leader mindset.
  • A BS in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Leadership, or equivalent experience; or 5 years of related experience if lacking a degree.
  • Manufacturing or military experience.
