Job summary

ATP Flight School is seeking a Front-End Web Developer to design, build, and optimize modern, responsive web apps with a focus on performance, usability, and design consistency.

You will work cross-functionally to translate UI/UX designs into functional experiences, leveraging HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Vue.js or Angular, and modern tooling. The role offers remote, in-person, or hybrid options and emphasizes SEO, analytics, and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Vue.js or Angular.
• Strong knowledge of CSS preprocessors (Sass or Less) and CSS Flexbox.
• Familiarity with Git or SVN for version control.
• Hands-on experience with Webpack, Vite, Gulp, or CodeKit.
• Strong copywriting and proofreading skills.
• Knowledge of SEO principles and implementation.
• Experience with GA4 and website analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage code repositories using Git or SVN for version control.
• Utilize build tools like Webpack, Vite, Gulp, or CodeKit to streamline development workflows.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to translate UI/UX designs into functional web experiences.
• Apply color theory, typography, and branding guidelines for a strong visual hierarchy and design consistency.
• Write, proofread, and optimize web copy for clarity, accuracy, and SEO compliance.
• Implement and monitor SEO best practices to improve site visibility and ranking.
• Analyze user engagement and site performance using GA4 and other analytics platforms.
• Work with Google Tag Manager to manage and deploy tracking tags (preferred but not required).

The Role

ATP Flight School is seeking a skilled Front-End Web Developer to join our team. This role involves developing and optimizing modern, responsive web applications while ensuring high performance, usability, and design consistency. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, an eye for design, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with the option to work remote, in-person, or hybrid.
