Job summary

Costco is seeking staff to warmly greet members and assist with loading, packing, and answering questions about promotions. You will help maintain clean front-end areas and support stock replenishment while ensuring safety and efficiency across the department.

Responsibilities include assisting with self-checkouts, moving pallets, and handling hazardous materials disposal as required. Open availability is needed, with proof of work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greets members, helps load orders onto conveyor, answers questions, and explains promotions.
• Packs orders into boxes and loads them onto carts, checks packaging for tampering, and assists loading into cars.
• Assists with self-checkouts by scanning items and handling heavy merchandise as needed.
• Monitors registers during self-checkouts and keeps belt area free of debris.
• Keeps register area and front-end areas clean; cleans spills and trip hazards promptly.
• Performs department setup and closing tasks, returns products, stocks registers, and cleans area.
• Moves pallets from receiving to shelves or directly to the sales floor; stocks and labels.
• Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials; may assist other departments as needed.
• Operates vehicles, equipment, or machinery as required.
