Job summary

RADgov Inc. is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to lead architectural decisions for web applications with a strong focus on accessibility and government compliance.

You will collaborate with Java backend teams and implement design systems leveraging USWDS to meet Section 508 requirements. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, mentoring, and championing engineering best practices while working in a remote setup constrained to IA.

Qualifications

• Formal accessibility certification (CPACC, WAS, or equivalent).
• Experience with Section 508 and Title I/Title II accessibility compliance.
• Proven experience as a Front-End Tech Lead or senior front-end engineer.
• Hands-on accessibility testing experience using automated tools, screen readers, and manual navigation.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and front-end deployment workflows.
• Ability to work effectively with Java backend teams.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, mentoring ability, and experience driving engineering best practices.
• Understanding of government security and sensitive data handling requirements.

Note: Work Arrangement : Remote (Only local to IA)

Required Experience:

Formal accessibility certification (CPACC, WAS, or equivalent)

Experience with Section 508 and Title I/Title II accessibility compliance.

• Proven experience as a Front-End Tech Lead or senior-level front-end engineer.
• Expert knowledge of Angular, SASS, HTML.
• Experience implementing a design system; USWDS experience strongly preferred.
• Hands-on accessibility testing experience using automated tools, screen readers, and manual navigation.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and front-end deployment workflows.
• Ability to work effectively with Java backend teams.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, mentoring ability, and experience driving engineering best practices.
