Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech is seeking an Application Developer Intern (Front-End Focus) to help build mobile-first enterprise apps. You’ll work with Angular, TypeScript, and Ionic, translating UI mocks into responsive components and optimizing performance.

You will collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders, learn Oshkosh’s agile methods, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic aviation tech environment.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue).
• Interest in mobile app development (Ionic/Capacitor) or PWAs.
• Basic understanding of version control systems (Git/GitHub).

Responsibilities

• Translate UI/UX mockups and specs into responsive front-end components.
• Assist in debugging, optimization, and performance testing for front-end interfaces.
• Troubleshoot client-side issues across browsers and devices.
• Support issue tracking and communicate status in tools like ServiceNow and GitHub.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to enterprise coding standards.
• Complete documentation, component testing, and CI/CD integration tasks.
