Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Dayton is seeking a Front End Specialist to help customers and maintain the store’s front-end operations. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, and use knowledge of current promotions to drive sales.

Preferred candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent and can work evenings, weekends, and holidays. A positive attitude and team spirit are essential as you support receiving, pricing, merchandising, and store upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end.

• Be knowledgeable of current promotions to answer customer questions and drive sales
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Position Overview:

The Front End Specialist assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. They are responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on the front end of store operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and exit the store and as they approach the front end.

• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.
