Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a Front-End Software Engineer to build and maintain the front-end of web applications, supporting responsive and mobile-ready experiences. You will design user interfaces, collaborate with product owners and designers, and ensure high quality through testing and performance improvements.

The role emphasizes user-centric design, enterprise branding, and staying current with new UI technologies, with a hybrid work arrangement and a 40-hour workweek in Dearborn, MI.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT experience.
• 3+ years of development experience.
• Proficient in at least one coding language or framework.
• Experience with GCP Cloud Run.
• Experience with Angular.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Ability to work 4 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use cases and requirements, advocating for user-centric software solutions.
• Design, develop, and deliver software using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• Align development work with architecture guidelines for a unified approach.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, back-end developers, and architects.
• Create mock-ups and prototypes for new features and UI reviews.
• Perform functional automated testing and UI testing to ensure quality.
• Improve application performance by bug-fixing and optimization.
• Design and deliver interactive experiences using enterprise brand standards.
• Stay current with emerging UI technologies and trends.
