Salary Range: $111,662 - $155,000. Compensation is based on role responsibilities, experience, and other factors.

Job Description

We seek a motivated Frontend Developer passionate about creating intuitive applications for our Big Data Platform. Our team values questions, rapid learning, and maintainable code, with mentorship and growth opportunities in a hybrid environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications
• Write and review JavaScript, CSS, and HTML code
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists
• Define and interact with REST APIs
• Troubleshoot issues and provide support
• Write unit tests and perform QA testing

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required
• At least 5 years of front-end development experience with a B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience with JavaScript and frameworks (Vue, React, Angular, etc.)
• Familiarity with Git and *nix command line
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
• Availability to work in a hybrid environment in Columbia, MD

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BDP
• DoD 8140 / 8570 certifications as required
