Base pay range

$60.00/hr - $70.00/hr

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Front End Software Engineer for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in San Jose, CA or San Francisco, CA .

Responsibilities :

• Architecture, design, and development of modern web applications around various machine learning lifecycle workflows for Adobe Search and Discovery features and internal evaluations
• Working directly with data scientists and engineers to implement scalable, fault-tolerant, and reusable front end code
• Working closely with product managers and UX designers to design new product features.
• Optimize web applications to maximize speed and scale
• Develop POCs quickly to get user feedback and improve on that.
  
  

Required Skills :

• Fluent in the latest web UI technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, React JS, CSS, HTML5)
• Proven record of delivering both simple and complex UIs that are efficient, maintainable, and well-structured
• Experience in Web services, micro-services, and REST APIs
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience in RDBMS & NOSQL database
• Experience of working with SaaS products with machine learning or data science components
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• BS or MS in Computer Science
• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in industry
