Job summary

Hannaford in Dover, NH is seeking a Front End Associate to support service desk operations and cashier duties at the service desk/kiosk. The role requires strong customer service, compliance with policies, and the ability to handle cash responsibly.

As part of Hannaford’s local store team, you will contribute to a safe, organized front-end area, perform routine duties, and support other store operations as needed in a dynamic retail environment located in Dover, New Hampshire.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Must meet minimum age requirements (18 years).
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Ability to perform cashier and service desk/kiosk duties.

Responsibilities

• Observe and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain neat personal appearance per policy.
• Assign activities to front end and service desk staff during idle times.
• Assist in special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Support safety standards and report needed repairs.
• Monitor customer behavior and security, report anomalies.
• Secure cash drawers when unattended; protect assets.
• Maintain store cleanliness and comply with health regulations.
• Perform cashier and/or bagging functions routinely.
• Assist service desk/kiosk and, if trained, bookkeeper duties.
• perform all other duties as assigned.
