Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Front End Specialist to assist customers and maintain the store front end. You will handle merchandising, customer service, and store appearance with a focus on the front of the operation.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, operating the cash register, knowing current promotions to answer questions, and supporting donation programs. Starting pay ranges from $13.02 to $14.02 per hour, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive attitude and team player who wants to engage and serve customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer entering or approaching the front end.
• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Be knowledgeable of current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck, pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
