Job summary

Tri-State is seeking a practical Front-End Application & Web Platform Engineer to support both our public website and a growing internal application ecosystem. You will take functionality from 85–90% complete to polished, production-ready quality and maintain launches post-release.

You will rebuild legacy ASPX sites into an AWS-hosted static architecture, focusing on execution, user experience refinement, and front-end reliability while collaborating with the Technical Lead to drive projects

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional front-end experience
• Strong mastery of HTML5, CSS, modern JavaScript
• Experience debugging complex browser-side issues
• REST API integration, JSON, CORS, JWT
• Responsive design and Git version control
• Independent problem-solving and execution

Responsibilities

• Complete and refine partially finished front ends, connect UI to REST APIs
• Improve forms, tables, filters, modals, navigation, and validation
• Implement loading and error states and client-side validation
• Troubleshoot JS and browser behavior across browsers
• Work with authentication, sessions, and API integration
• Refactor UI patterns into reusable components
• Support backend/API tweaks when needed and escalate accordingly
• Test changes before production and maintain after release
