Cardinal Civil Contracting is seeking a Utility Loader Operator to support underground water, sewer, and storm pipe crews on active job sites. Load, move, and stage pipe, stone, dirt, and other materials, following job plans and safety protocols.

With 2+ years of loader experience, you must read grade stakes, follow signals, and communicate effectively with the crew. Overtime and weekend hours may be required; CDL or heavy equipment certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience operating a front-end loader or similar heavy equipment in utility or civil construction.
• Ability to read grade stakes, follow signals and written instructions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.

Responsabilités

• Operate a rubber-tired front-end loader to scoop, lift, carry, and place bulk materials.
• Operate a skid steer or excavator as assigned to move pipe and materials.
• Unload pipe, fittings, and structures from delivery trucks using proper rigging.
• Stage pipe and materials ahead of the crew to keep installation on schedule.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Assist with site cleanup, seeding, and restoration.
• Maintain professional communication with crew and foreman.
• Adhere to Cardinal safety program and OSHA regulations.
