Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support steady material flow for processing. Training provided to safely operate a Front End Loader to mix materials and load products to meet production goals.

Required: 18+, a high school diploma or GED, loader experience, reliable work history, and weekend/holiday availability. Responsibilities include equipment operation, maintenance, cleaning, safety as priority, and flexibly adapting to shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in loader operation.
• Demonstrated solid work history required.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays or cover other shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operates yard and plant equipment to load materials.
• Maintains raw material mixture.
• Maintains contact with operator to ensure most efficient mix rate.
• Performs daily maintenance on loader before each shift.
• Washes plant equipment, vehicles, and processing areas with a power washer.
• Performs general cleaning as needed in work areas.
• Keeps area clean; raw materials piled out of driving area.
• Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with company safety rules.
