Job summary

Waste Pro USA is seeking a Landfill Equipment Operator in Indepence, LA. The role includes inspecting incoming waste, placing and spreading waste on site, and safely operating the site equipment. The operator must follow disposal policies and maintain accurate written records.

Ideal candidates will have a valid driver’s license, 2 years of heavy equipment experience, and a preference for a 24-hour landfill operator license. Training will be provided as needed and duties may expand by supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license for the state of employment and a clean driving record.
• 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• 24 hour Landfill Operators License preferred.
• High school Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming waste and manage placement on site.
• Operate a front-end loader and other heavy equipment.
• Maintain written records as required.
• Attend corporation-sponsored training courses as assigned.
• Keep up to date on current technology used by Waste Pro USA.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
