Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a Loader Operator to support material handling and storage tasks at our Austin, Texas site. You will operate a front-end loader, follow safety standards, and coordinate daily with site supervisors and batch plant operators.

This role requires reading operator manuals, performing routine maintenance, and responding to equipment emergencies. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in extreme conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment and loaders.
• Knowledge of rigging, safety practices, and hand signals.
• Ability to read operator manuals and perform maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights or in extreme conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader to lift and transport bulk materials to storage areas and conveyors.
• Perform routine maintenance on loader, fueling and cleaning.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and batch plant operators on daily tasks.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental requirements; perform cleanup and material handling duties.
• Identify components and controls of equipment; assist with maintenance.
• Respond to equipment emergencies and read equipment operator manuals.
