Job summary

Oil-Dri Corporation of America in Georgia seeks a Loader/Driver for the North Plant Processing area. This role operates a front-end loader in raw clay storage and may run clay crushing units prior to the dryer.

Shift is 7P–7A; pay is $20.64/hour plus $2.00 shift differential. Responsibilities include maintaining clay quantity and quality, performing pre-shift safety checks, communicating with relief and next shift, adhering to PPE and safety rules, and supporting other processing team duties as

Qualifications

• Experience operating a front-end loader in a safe manner.
• Ability to monitor equipment performance and respond to changes.
• Understand safety requirements and proper communications.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift and lift 50 pounds frequently.
• Must communicate by radio and wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Operates loader ensuring proper clay quantity and quality in the clay shed.
• Understands internal customer needs and adjusts process accordingly.
• Operates crushers as needed.
• Performs pre-shift safety and general inspections.
• Informs relief/next shift of conditions and changes.
• Follows all safety rules and precautions.
• Assists with daily routine maintenance of equipment.
• Keeps work areas clean and free of clutter.
• Performs other duties and participates in improvement activities.
• Gains proficiency in other processing team functions as needed.
