Job summary

Armadillo Materials seeks a Loader Operator to load customer trucks and sand hoppers using a WA500 front-end loader. You will manage sand/rock stockpiles in a fast-paced environment and perform tasks assigned by supervisors.

Responsibilities include operating safely, tracking trucks, completing records, and assisting in plant maintenance. The role requires 12-hour shifts, overtime, and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, overtime and holidays as needed.
• Must read equipment operating manuals.
• Must communicate via CB radio or signals with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a WA500 loader safely and efficiently.
• Load trucks and sand hoppers per safety rules.
• Track trucks and complete records accurately.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections and basic maintenance.
• Adhere to MSHA and plant safety policies.
