Job summary

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) seeks a Loader Operator to safely and efficiently move earth and materials for local road construction projects in Daytona Beach, FL.

You will operate the loader, perform grading, load trucks, inspect equipment daily, and complete required paperwork. The position requires at least 2 years of experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Florida driver's license, and the ability to work days, nights or weekends; drug testing and background checks

Qualifications

• 2+ years of loader operation experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a Florida driver's license and meet MVR requirements.
• Ability to pass drug testing and background checks.
• Willing to work days, nights or weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate the loader in a safe and efficient manner to move earth and materials.
• Excavate, load trucks and bins, grade, fill, back-fill and move debris as directed.
• Make grade cuts around utilities without causing damage per instructions.
• Inspect equipment daily and check fluids before starting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

LOADER OPERATOR

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is a growing road construction company. We are seeking to fill a Loader Operator position for our local operations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Will perform duties to operate the loader in a safe and efficient manner to move earth and materials in a manner to prevent damage to the equipment or injury.
• Ability to excavate, load trucks and bins, grading, filling, and back-filling, moving and loading earth, trash, and debris, ripping up and moving curb and pavement.
• Make grade cuts, including areas of known utilities, without causing damage according to instruction and direction.
• Will inspect equipment daily for defective parts and check fluids before starting.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.
• Able to complete all required paperwork efficiently.
• Must be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver's license.
• Employer conducts drug testing and background check.
