Job summary

Waste Pro USA Inc. is seeking a punctual, dependable Landfill Equipment Operator for the Broussard, Louisiana site. You will operate a front-end loader and other heavy equipment, and follow refuse disposal policies and procedures.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and 2 years of heavy equipment experience. A 24-hour Landfill Operators License is preferred, with High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for the state of employment with a clean driving record.
• 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• 24 hour Landfill Operators License preferred.
• High school Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loader and other heavy equipment.
• Understand refuse disposal policies, procedures, guidelines, and practices.
• Ability to manipulate heavy equipment control levers.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Ability to maintain written records.
• Attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned.
• Keep up to date on current technology used by Waste Pro USA.
• Any additional duties assigned by the Supervisor.
• Reasonable accommodations for physical tasks up to 75 pounds.
