Job summary

County Waste Complex LLC is seeking a Commercial Driver to safely operate a front-end load truck on designated routes, perform daily vehicle inspections, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

The role emphasizes courteous customer interactions, team coordination, and adherence to route schedules. Two years of heavy truck experience and a Class B CDL are preferred, with on-site work on established routes.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience driving heavy commercial trucks.
• Class B CDL required.
• Experience with auto loading garbage trucks is not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle for safety and readiness.
• Safely operate the FEL truck on the designated route and disposal site.
• Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag per procedures.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable material.
• Clean area around spills adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and clean the packer blade and body after trips.
• Complete route productivity sheets and required reports.
• Adhere to productivity standards to service customers efficiently.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
