Job summary

Price Rite Torrington is seeking a Part-Time Front-End Lead Clerk to oversee front-end operations, cash handling, and service quality. You will report to the Front-End Manager and help train staff while ensuring accurate tills and a friendly checkout experience.

The role requires English fluency, ability to stand, bend and lift, and a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and weekends, with a clean cash record. Perks include paid time off, discounts, wellness programs, and recognition.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English.
• Understand and follow direction given.
• Stand for long periods and perform job while standing.
• Work a flexible schedule including daytime, evening and weekends.
• Maintain a satisfactory cash record (less than 2 errors in 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Accountable for cash office controls such as safe counts, cashier tills reconciliation, deposits, reports.
• Organize, clean and maintain cash office and front-end work stations.
• Supervise, train and develop team members.
• Communicate to all levels of management.
• Adhere to front-end procedures, policies and practices.
• Perform cash handling and ringing of the register.
• Travel to other stores as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
