Job summary

Nordic Naturals is seeking a Product Innovation Technologist to lead front-end innovation, technology scoping, and rapid prototyping. You will explore emerging technologies, evaluate ingredients, and translate consumer insights into credible technical opportunities for business cases.

Working across Product Development with NPD formulators, PD engineers, and regulatory teams, you will ensure concepts are technically credible and ready for stage-gate transition into full development.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Nutritional Science, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in product innovation, front-end innovation, technology scoping, R&D, or early-stage product development.

Responsibilities

• Identify emerging technologies, ingredients, processes, and delivery formats through supplier engagement and landscape scanning.
• Translate consumer insights and technical opportunities into early-stage prototypes and feasibility assessments across multiple delivery forms.
• Build and maintain FEI pipeline and collaborate with PD, Marketing Innovation & Insights, and cross-functional teams.
