Job summary

Capital One seeks a Senior Manager, Software Engineering (Front End) to lead a high-impact frontend team building distributed microservices and modern cloud-based solutions.

You will guide engineers through design, code, and testing using JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Node), HTML/CSS, TypeScript and Java, mentoring staff and driving adoption of open source technologies while delivering customer-centric experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google).
• At least 4 years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers with experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems.
• Perform software development on Front End Applications using TDD.
• Own the design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform systems.
