Job summary

NEC Software Solutions is seeking a Front-end React Developer to design and maintain web apps using React and Next.js. You will work in a cross-functional Scrum team to deliver secure SaaS or on-premises solutions, emphasising accessibility, performance, and test quality. SC clearance is mandatory for this role.

You will implement features, perform reviews, integrate REST APIs, and contribute to architecture and front-end best practices in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient front-end development with commercial experience.
• Strong React and TypeScript with component composition and hooks.
• Experience with Next.js routing and SSR concepts.
• Familiarity with testing via Jest and React Testing Library; TDD mindset.

Responsibilities

• Write production-ready React/Next.js code with tests and accessibility checks.
• Perform code reviews and contribute within Git workflows.
• Integrate REST APIs, manage state, document changes for reuse.
• Build and maintain reusable components aligned to the design system.
• Ensure accessibility, performance, and scalable UI across devices.
