Job summary

Velo3D is seeking a Software Engineer II for the Web Front End team to shape a scalable UI for Assure, a fleet management platform. You will translate user needs into high-quality web interfaces using React, collaborating with internal users and the backend team to deliver responsive, data-driven experiences.

You will own front-end architecture, modernize legacy components, design interactive visualizations of print-job performance and fleet health, and ensure performance, reliability, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of front-end software engineering experience.
• Strong JS/TS and modern web practices.
• Production React apps with components, hooks, routing, styling.
• Experience building reusable UI components and architecture.
• Experience consuming REST APIs with backend teams.
• Experience automated testing (unit/integration/component).
• Strong HTML/CSS, responsive design, browser fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, development, and evolution of the Assure web UI.
• Modernize UI by migrating legacy components to React-based foundation.
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Design and develop interactive data visualizations showing print-job performance and fleet health.
