Job summary

Amazon in Seattle is seeking a Front-End Engineer to evolve the ECR web console. You will build interfaces to manage registries, repositories, images, and security settings, using React and TypeScript within AWS console frameworks.

You will collaborate with UX, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver accessible, performant experiences for customers of all skill levels. You will contribute to permissions, replication, and image scanning workflows, participate in design reviews, and

Qualifications

1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain the ECR console and public gallery using React, TypeScript, and AWS console frameworks (CloudScape/Starport)
Build and deliver front-end features including permissions management, replication configuration and image scanning workflows
Collaborate with service teams on API design to ensure console experiences are performant and resilient
Participate in technical design reviews for front-end features, contributing to trade-off discussions between customer experience, implementation complexity, and operational cost
Contribute to code reviews, share front-end best practices, and help raise the engineering bar
Triage issues impacting console availability
Contribute to cross-team console platform initiatives and share learnings across AWS console teams
