Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Front-End Engineer II in Seattle, WA to build customer-facing web experiences and internal tools for Luna and Amazon Games. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to take features from requirements through design, implementation, testing, and production.

You will influence the architecture, improve engineering quality, and establish reusable patterns across the Omni platform while delivering performant, accessible interfaces for customers

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship frontend, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience.
• Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain customer-facing web applications and reusable front-end components.
• Build marketing experiences supporting game, content, and product launches.
• Develop internal tools for UTF, Customer Support, and operational workflows.
• Integrate front-end applications with backend services and APIs.
• Own features end-to-end, including design, implementation, deployment, and operational support.
• Improve application performance, accessibility, maintainability, and engineering quality.
• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and reduce manual effort through better tooling and automation.
• Participate in design and code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices across the team.
