Job summary

AspenView Technology Partners is seeking a Front-End Engineer to join our nearshore-inspired team building merchant onboarding experiences for hospitality clients. You will craft responsive, accessible React interfaces using TypeScript, collaborate with design and backend teams, and contribute to SSR and micro-frontend architecture to deliver fast, reliable merchant workflows.

Step into a high-impact role as a Front-End Engineer for a leading hospitality payments and commerce platform. You will work seamlessly in an embedded, client-side collaboration model to build the merchant onboarding and configuration experience for restaurants and bars. Your work will directly shape a polished, fast, and accessible operator-facing hospitality surface.

What you will do:

Merchant Experience & UI

• Build responsive, highly accessible React interfaces for merchant onboarding and configuration.
• Deliver a polished operator- and guest-facing hospitality surface ensuring consistent, reusable UI across the platform.

Front-End Architecture & Integration

• Apply SSR, micro-frontends, and state management solutions like Redux or Zustand.
• Consume REST and GraphQL services, gracefully handling auth, error, and loading states.
• Implement BFF (backend-for-frontend) patterns where appropriate to optimize data flows.

Quality & Performance

• Meet stringent accessibility and performance standards to ensure merchant experiences are fast and intuitive.
• Test components extensively with Jest and Cypress, and manage builds with Webpack and Gulp.

Tools & Technologies:

• Platforms & Infrastructure: Micro-frontends, Webpack, Gulp, BFF (backend-for-frontend) architecture.
• Security & DevSecOps: Jest, Cypress, Authentication state management, Accessible UI standards.
• Cloud & IaC: SSR (Server-Side Rendering), REST APIs, GraphQL services.

What you bring:

• Experience: 3+ years of front-end engineering using TypeScript and React. You must have prior travel and hospitality industry experience, specifically focusing on restaurant or bar merchant onboarding and configuration UX. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Consulting / Leadership: Strong written and spoken English, paired with the ability to thrive in an embedded, client-side collaboration model. You are based in LatAm and aligned to U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST).
• Mindset: A commitment to quality and usability, ensuring that every interface is fast, accessible, and intuitive, while keeping codebases maintainable and components reusable.
• Bonus: Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese to support LatAm hospitality expansion.
