GFL Environmental is seeking Front-End Drivers to operate local front-end trucks on multi-family and commercial routes, collecting waste and recyclables and transferring to transfer stations or landfills. The role offers home daily, steady local work, and safety-focused operations.

You must hold a valid CDL or CDL school certificate, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, pass DOT safety criteria, and provide clean background.

Qualifikationen

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum 1 year of commercial truck driving experience OR a CDL school certificate.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly and maneuver equipment in tight spaces.
• Ability to pass safety background criteria, drug screening, and demonstrate safe truck operation.

Aufgaben

• Operate commercial frontload trucks along local routes to collect solid waste and recyclables from commercial and multi-family customers.
• Safely transfer collected waste to designated transfer stations, landfills, or drop-off locations.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report vehicle conditions per DOT standards.
• Open container enclosures or gates, maneuver cans into position for dumping as needed.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public along your route, serving as a trusted face of GFL.
• Clean loose trash off the truck and surrounding area to maintain clean, safe customer sites.
• Follow all safe operating practices, DOT regulations, and company safety rules.

Front-End Drivers operate front-end trucks that provide services to a variety of multi-family residential and commercial routes removing and transporting waste or recyclables in fulfillment of customer contracts. This position will service multiple customers per day according to assigned routes. The waste will then need to be transferred to the appropriate station, landfill or drop-off location.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial frontload trucks along assigned local routes to collect solid waste and recyclables from commercial and multi-family residential customers.

Qualifications & Requirements

• License: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
