Job summary

Qualifications

• University degree and at least 9 years of IT professional experience.
• 3+ years of Front-End Development with Vue.js.
• Experience in production-ready Vue.js projects.
• Experience with REST APIs in ASP.NET Core/.NET 8+.
• Front-end unit testing in production projects.
• Experience with OAUTH standard in projects.
• Knowledge of web component design (CSS/HTML).
• Proficient in Vue.js, TypeScript, .NET (C#) and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience in back-end components and micro-services; strong unit testing.
• Strong SQL Server skills and OOP/SOLID principles.

Responsibilities

• Write web frontend code in Vue.js; knowledge of React is a plus.
• Develop front-end and back-end unit tests.
• Manage front-end build configuration and npm tasks.
• Use TypeScript and modern web development practices.
• Write CSS/HTML using SASS and Bootstrap.
• Contribute to .NET micro-services backend; reliable, scalable, secure code.

Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes.

Role Overview

Our client currently has a vacancy for a Front-end developer (VueJs, .Net) to offer his/her services as an expert remotely within the EU. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Requirements

• University Degree and at least 9 years of IT professional experience;
• More than three (3) years of experience in Front-End Development with Vue.js JavaScript Framework;
• Experience as a front-end developer in more than two (2) production-ready web projects with Vue.js JavaScript Framework;
• Experience in more than two (2) production-ready REST API services written with ASP.NET Core and/or .NET 8+;
• Experience in more than one (1) production-ready projects with front-end unit tests;
• Experience in more than one (1) production-ready projects with OAUTH standard;
• Sound knowledge of application development environments;
• Knowledge of the design and development of web components including CSS and HTML;
• Sound knowledge of Vue.js JavaScript framework and Typescript;
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft .NET (C#) and ASP.NET Core;
• Good knowledge of the design and development of back-end components (REST APIs, integrations, micro-services);
• Sound knowledge on how to write unit test in both C# and front-end technologies;
• Good knowledge of programming on SQL Server databases with TSQL;
• Good knowledge of OOP paradigms and SOLID principles and of OAUTH standard application design;
• Good knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. AGILE);
• Excellent command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Write web frontend code in Vue.js JavaScript framework. Other JavaScript frameworks (like React) knowledge is a plus;
• Write front-end and back-end unit tests;
• Manage the front-end build configuration and the appropriate npm tasks;
• Be familiar with Typescript and modern web development;
• Write CSS and HTML by using SASS and Bootstrap;
• Participate in the .NET implementation of a micro-services solution, being able to write backend code in a reliable, fast, scalable, and secure way, satisfying requirements and service level agreements;
• Implement validation mechanisms as unit and integration tests for both front-end and back-end code;
• Write OAUTH authentication mechanisms;
• Follow SCRUM methodology procedures and disciplines and estimate the work to be done upon request;
• Account for secure coding practices, as well as logging and auditing features;
• Communicate in a clean, concise way, not only to peers but to upper layers when needed.
