About The Role
TCG is seeking a Front-End Applications Developer to join our team in anticipation of an upcoming award. This position is primarily remote, though occasional in-person meetings in Washington, D.C. may be required with advance notice. Applicants must reside within commuting distance of Washington, D.C. This role involves working with cutting-edge technologies and delivering impactful IT solutions to federal clients.

Responsibilities

1. Manage software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques.
2. Apply expertise to complex tasks, demonstrating originality and innovation.
3. Develop solutions that address problems and meet project goals, contributing to deliverables and performance metrics.
4. Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analysis.
5. Assist in refining existing programs to improve performance and efficiency.
6. Analyze and estimate the level of effort required to complete user stories during sprint planning sessions.

Required Skills

• At least 4 years of experience with JavaScript and Node.js (with a BS degree) or 6+ years of experience with formal IT certification.
• Strong knowledge of React component and application development (2-3 years).
• Experience working with Docker containers (2-3 years).
• Experience developing cloud-native applications in AWS (2-3 years).
• Proven ability to work independently and innovate when tackling complex technical challenges.

Education

• A BS degree in a relevant field or formal IT certification is required.
