Job summary

Trinity Global Consulting in Virginia seeks a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs, while collaborating with front-end teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. You will build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed and reliability, and ensure performance, security, and scalability across production systems.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of web design/front-end development experience with HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and JavaScript, and

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Math/GIS/STEM required.
• 2+ years of web front-end development experience.
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.
• Background building high availability and scalable solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; US citizenship required; TS clearance eligibility.

Job description

Duties May Include:

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs

• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
• Maintain production systems and resolve issues as required

Requirements Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, GIS, or STEM-related field
• 2+ years of experience with web design and front-end development
• Proven experience using HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and JavaScript
• Experience with front-end development libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Background building high availability and high scalability solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
• US Citizenship required
• Active or current (within two years of active) Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, GIS, or STEM-related field
• Esri certification
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• Exposure to DevSecOps practices and secure development pipelines
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments
