Minimum requirements:

• Customer service experience
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk

Key responsibilities include:

• Greeting, engaging, and assisting customers
• Processing transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
• Understanding and operating the Point of Sale (POS) system and handling various tenders and transactions according to company policy
• Adhering to cash handling limits and loss prevention policies
• Following guidelines on restricted sale items and reporting discrepancies
• Managing postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons as per policies
• Staying current with advertisements and promotions
• Following food safety regulations and safety procedures
• Creating a welcoming environment for customers
• Complying with all applicable laws and company policies
• Working cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment
• Managing conflicts professionally and acting with honesty and integrity
• Supporting diverse customer needs, including minors, individuals with disabilities, and older adults
