Vallarta Supermarkets is hiring a Courtesy Clerk to deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced, festive environment in Pasadena. You will greet customers, bag groceries, assist with carry-out, and help locate products while keeping the store clean and safe.

The role requires friendly service, the ability to work in a team, and a willingness to learn Vallarta’s six steps of service. English proficiency and legal work authorization in the U.S. are essential.

Qualifications

• Friendly, courteous personality with strong customer service skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Smile and greet customers using Vallarta’s service standards.
• Bag groceries and assist with carry-out per store procedures.
• Assist customers with locating products in-store.
• Perform accurate price checks as requested.
• Return perishable and non-perishable items to shelves (go-backs).
• Collect and secure shopping carts; maintain store and parking lot cleanliness.
• Assist with spills, cleaning, and general upkeep.
• Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards.
