Job summary

SavMor in Quincy, CA is seeking a part-time cashier to provide world famous friendly customer service, handle cash register, bag groceries, and assist in stocking.

You will greet customers, follow store policies, rotate perishable items, and maintain a clean front-end. Must be able to stand long periods and lift up to 45 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to read case labels and shelf tags.

• Able to stand on your feet continuously on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries accordingly. (like items together)
• Carry out groceries to customers vehicles.
• Keep perishable merchandise rotated & pull out of date product as needed.

• Maintain a neat appearance according to the company’s dress code policy.
• Keep store shelves fully stocked according to information provided.
• Assist in building store displays.
• Observe policies and procedures established for each department.
• Keep work area, check stand, front end clean.
• Learn, follow, and model all safety operating procedures.
• Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.
